This article relates to the hypodermic needle theory heavily. They claim that playing violent games can provoke violent behaviour, this is backed up by expert opinion by Dr Brad Bushman and experimental research. (heading shown above)

TWO STEP FLOW MODEL:

Jamal Edwards: Amateur film-maker turned multimillionaire

This model suggests that the media is not as influential as people might think it is as humans have enough intellect to make choices and decisions about certain things themselves, and that the media does not control their views, because of our ability to challenge or even agree to different views or perspectives. I certainly do believe in the two step flow model purely because I have personal views and believe that article or parts of the media are somebodies views and i do not always have to agree. However i do also believe that some people in the public rely on some parts of the media such as news papers (guardian/metro) and may be vulnerable because of their reliance.
The YouTube may fit into the two step flow model because some people may have different views on his gaming skills etc. this can be shown in the comments below the clip.
The telegraph article on the most influential tweeters contrasts the two step flow model in many ways however it may fit in to it as people can comment about it as well as re-tweeting it with their own views.

Five influential YouTube could be:
KSI
Ryan higga
smosh
PieDiePie
Jenna Marbles

This could influence peoples views on these singers.
