film poster analysis of own choice.

The production company named on top of the title shows us that it is not a big budget film and will not attract different audiences rather a more constricted group of viewers. It will be more appealing to people who are familiar with nickelodeon's the TV channel, based on this we can also infer that it is a childrens film and will be very much suitable for 11+ children. The character is in the middle of the poster which highlights the fact that he is the protagonist. The dark colours emphasise and foretell that there will be some sort of evil and scary characters in the film, however there is a bright misty yellow light leading towards something which is presumably good and safe for the protagonist which sets a hopeful mood but he is looking in a different direction, this might trigger the viewer to consider whether the young boy will find safety in this dangerous jungle and will he survive? (tension is added to draw the viewers attention towards the film.) The fact that the boy is looking around could also portray how scared and lost he is, this makes up sympathise with him and cause interaction with the character and viewer. The tag line is also used here at the bottom of the poster to attract attention, the words and specific language and vocabulary is used to change the mood of the person and make it link with the protagonists feelings.
The 'BEWARE' is written across the the top of the poster however it is camouflaged with the tree's this could imply on how hard to is to notify danger which could make it even more dangerous for the  boy. It is also a warning to the audience aswel as the protagonist as they both are going to experience a thrilling scare. the evil magical creature on the bottom left hand corner indicates that there is mystical creatures in the film too.
